Where are we located?
We are located 60 km (1 hour) from Tallinn and 17 km (17 minutes) from Rapla in the Kehtna municipality, Lau village.
If you’re coming from Tallinn, take Viljandi Road towards Rapla. Turn left towards Nõmme 43 km before the Aranküla railway crossing. Drive 1.5 km and, just after Nõmme Inn, turn right towards Hõreda. Drive 4.5 km through Nõmme village to the Juuru-Rapla highway. You have reached Hõreda. Turn left, drive 197 meters, then turn right and drive 6.2 km, passing through the historic Ingliste village, which recently celebrated its 555th anniversary, until you reach Lau village. Lau’s history dates back to 1241 when it was first mentioned in the Danish Evaluation Book as “Laucataux.” The name of the resort, “Laukataguse,” also originates from this. When you see a sign on the right side of the road that says “Laukataguse Puhkeküla,” turn left and drive straight for 300 meters to the parking lot surrounded by a stone wall.
If you are coming from Rapla, take Viljandi Road towards Türi. Turn left towards Juuru-Rapla highway, just 2 km past the COOP Rapla Jaama Konsum/E-Ehituskeskus store, crossing the railroad tracks towards Juuru. Drive 6 km to the Lau tee bus stop, just before the bus stop, turn right, drive 1.6 km, turn right at the first crossroads, and drive 4.7 km towards Keava until you reach Lau village. On the right side of the road, you will see a sign that says “Laukataguse Puhkeküla.” Turn left and drive straight for 300 meters to the parking lot surrounded by a stone wall.
If you are coming from Türi, take the Tallinn-Rapla-Türi road towards Rapla. After passing through Kehtna town, turn right towards Keava 40 km after. Drive 8.3 km, cross the railway crossing (Keava station on your right), and continue straight. Keep right near the ruins of Keava Manor and drive through the winding forest road in Keava mountains until you reach Lau village. On the left side of the road, you will see a sign that says “Laukataguse Puhkeküla.” Turn right and drive straight for 300 meters to the parking lot surrounded by a stone wall.
Welcome, you are welcome!
