Services:

The territory of the holiday village, about 5.5 hectares large, is perfect for birthdays, company summer outings, and any other outdoor events. During the summer season, you can catch fish in the ponds and grill it yourself later on. There is a campfire site with a separate shelter and a volleyball field for the sports enthusiasts.

Depending on the number of people, the whole complex can be booked wholly or partially. There is an adjacent grill house with an outdoor kitchen, smoker oven, and grill oven for smaller groups of people. Mostly, the guests of the holiday village stay in tents which they need to bring themselves. You can bring your own alcohol upon prior agreement.

The grill house fits up to 20 people. It features a separate shelter and an outdoor kitchen. For the use of the guests, there is a wok pan, a grill oven, a smoker oven, and a fridge. There is a summer room in the attic, which accommodates up to 6 people.

Party tents with tables and benches for about 70 people are available for the guests of larger parties.

Taking sauna just like our ancestors in a real Estonian smoke sauna made of basswood has become a major attraction. You can jump into the cooling pond water straight from the sauna. Enjoying the sunset on the sauna terrace relaxes your mind and spirit.

For those who prefer a more active holiday, we offer a chance to go horse riding on nature trails, to hike in the bog with a guide or to strengthen the team spirit by photo hunt. As we cooperate with different partners, please let us know if you have any specific thoughts and wishes either via phone or when booking through our webpage.

To enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere, you can collect fresh ideas and new energy while fishing.

  • Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult (21 or over). Laukataguse Holiday Village reserves the right not to accommodate underage parties.
HOLIDAY IN ESTONIA

Hiking trails lead you from Laukataguse to Kõnnumaa Landscape Reserve, where you can hike in the bogs of Palasi, Keava, and Loosalu. Besides the Keava Hills that the locals know as the Mäi Forest, the Hiiemägi and the Reevimägi Hills of Paluküla can also be found there. The Linnusemägi Hill, which dates back to the year 1054, is situated in the Keava Hills.

You can go fishing when you come to Laukataguse—both carp and trout inhabit the ponds. Sportier recreational activities include bicycling or volleyball.

AUTHENTIC SMOKE SAUNA

The oldest building of the holiday village is a smoke sauna with basswood walls and a green roof. It is right next to the pond, and steaming is extra enjoyable there. There is no electricity in the sauna, and the only way to get cleaned up is to pour water from a bucket or to jump into the pond. However, after steaming five times in a row, there is no need to wash—you will be clean from the inside to the outside. It is really pleasant to enjoy the sunset sitting in front of the sauna or to jump into an ice-hole in the pond in wintertime. As the saying goes, you have never felt the real sauna steam if you have not tried a smoke sauna.

SUMMER EVENTS

We organize various events for both larger and smaller parties. Both summertime guests and birthday parties are welcome. For a larger group, we provide a guide to go to the hiking trails. You can go horseback riding or horse carting in the neighbouring farmstead. In winter, we offer snowmobile trips and relaxation in the sauna. In co-operation with the local hunting club, we can organize plate shooting in a firing range. Party tents of different sizes are at your disposal for larger events.
